FAQ

GENERAL

Is Project Brewing kid friendly?

Yes, very! We're a family business with five kids of our own and one of the key motivators for us was to provide a space where families could feel comfortable and unwind, enjoying quality time with friends and family while enjoying a craft beer. We have a kids corner set up, games for the tables and chalk to add to our forever growing kids mural on our walls.

Is the brewery dog friendly?

Yes, just as long as your dog is well behaved and on a lead. What better destination for your weekend walks!

Do you serve food at the brewery?

We don’t have our own kitchen as yet however we do have an arrangement with the Burgerchiefs food truck to be on-site at the brewery every day that we are open. Burgerchiefs serve burgers, fries, and pizzas and quite often have one-off specials as well.

Look them up at: https://burgerchiefs.com.au/

Can we bring our own food?

No. We currently have an exclusive agreement with Burgerchiefs to provide food onsite (including catering functions). For more information on the great food available please visit: https://burgerchiefs.com.au/

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We do! Simply chat to one of our friendly staff next time you visit and they'll be able to organise a gift voucher for you.

Do you have live music every weekend?

Generally, we try to support local artists and book them on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. You can check our Facebook or Instagram pages to see what we have booked in any particular week.

BOOKINGS & FUNCTIONS

Do we have to book a table?

We accept both walk-ins and bookings. If you are coming with a large group it is advised to book ahead, however for smaller groups there is usually no need to book. Of course, you can always book if you want to 100% secure a spot no matter the size.

If you would like to book a table you can email caitlin@projectbrewing.com.au or call us on 0408 392 226 or 0421 581 525.

Can we book a function at the brewery?

Yes, we can assist with functions or large group bookings, and you can even book out the entire venue for a private function. Email caitlin@projectbrewing.com.au for a copy of our general function booking information.

Can we hire out the brewery for a private event?

Yes, we've hosted so many great private functions at Project Brewing including birthdays, baby showers, hens/bucks parties, engagement parties and even a couple of weddings! If you would like to hire out the entire brewery for your next private event, please email caitlin@projectbrewing.com.au with details about your event (date, time and expected numbers) or call 0408 392 226 or 0421 581 525 to chat with us.

BEER & SPIRITS

Do you only sell beer?

No, we try to cater for all by offering a wide range of beer, gin and vodka that we produce on-site. We also have a wide variety of basic spirits, cocktails, 10 different wines, alcohol-free beer, soft drinks and slushies available for ordering.

You can check out our full menu here.

Do you sell beer and spirits for takeaway?

Yes, we package our beer into cans for takeaway. We also sell our range of gin and vodka in 200mL and 700ml bottles for takeaway.

What types of beer do you produce?

Check our website for a current menu however it does change often. We generally have three core beers and around ten ever-changing beer taps. We brew anything from pale ale, lager, porter, stout, sours, hefeweizen, the list goes on and on!

Do you fill home brew or corny kegs?

Yes we do. You need to bring in a clean and ideally sanitised keg. We will purge the keg 3 times with CO2 to remove oxygen and then counter-pressure fill.

Filling a keg can take up to 30 minutes in some cases so generally, we ask that you drop the keg off and come pick it up the following day. Alternatively, if we are not busy and can fill it on the spot feel free to kick back with a beer and wait. Please call or Facebook message if it is critical to have your keg filled on the spot and we will advise if it is possible at the time.

We can fill your keg with any beer we have on tap at the time. General cost is $135 inc GST for core range beers below 6% ABV. Higher ABV beers including IPA’s cost approx. $170 inc GST for a 19L keg fill however best to check at the time as it is beer-dependent.

Do you sell 50L kegs of Project Brewing beer?

Yes, we can sell you a keg of our beer in a 50L keg. We use ‘A’ Type couplers. Costs start from around $308 inc GST for a core range beer less than 6% abv.

Can we do a tasting session?

We are working on a format for beer, gin and whisky guided tasting sessions in the future. At the moment we offer tasting paddles of four items of your choosing.

Can we buy Project Brewing beer anywhere other than the brewery?
